MSF Announces 2019 Commitment to the Patient Safety Movement Foundation

The Maternal Safety Foundation announced its commitment to the Patient Safety Movement Foundation today at the 7th Annual World Patient Safety, Science & Technology Summit in Huntington Beach, California. In addition to helping PSM with outreach related to the Actionable Patient Safety Solutions (APSS) for Optimizing Obstetric Safety and actively continuing to participate in the OB Workgroup, the Maternal Safety Foundation is researching hospital-level data on vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) to publish this Spring.

The Patient Safety Movement partnered with MSF in September 2018 to release state data dashboards on maternal health and progress toward Healthy People 2020 cesarean birth rate targets on CesareanRates.org.
